Hearts boss Jim Jeffries has embarked on a new career - as a stand up comic! Jolly jester Jim said: "A lot of people seem to think I'm just a grumpy old man, but I do have a sense of humour - after all, I've managed Hearts twice - boom, boom! The new show lets people see there is another, fun side to me".
The Tynecastle funster is appearing at the Fringe Festival this month. "There's more to life than football, and comedy is a way of releasing some of the stress and tension of everyday life", added the Gorgie joker. "I'm looking to performing to packed houses - not that I ever get that at Tynie, boom! boom! - and yes, there will be a number of football-related jokes. Especially about Christian Nade!"
So forget 'Cheer Up Jimmy Jeffries', now it's 'Stand Up Jimmy Jeffries'! Don't miss it!
