There are far too many stand up comedians (I use the term 'comedian' loosely) - and most of them just are not funny.

From hapless David Currie to wooden Rhona McLeod, and accident prone Dougie Vipond to execrable Andy Murray stalker Kheredine thingy - this is a truly awful bunch. Is this honestly the best we have got? It almost makes you miss golden-haired Dougie Donnelly (of Sterling near Tillicoultry ad fame). Thank heaven for Richard Gordon - a broadcasting colossus in this field of pygmies.
Come back Archie McPherson, all is forgiven (well, almost). WHOAFFF!!
