February was quite a month - very up and down. Brian's 30th birthday, my old man's 80th (pictured above)and one found out that one is to become a grandfather! I'm far too young for that nonsense so we'll deal with that story later ...much later!
Confirmation also received that council officials are recommending no further funding for North Edinburgh News (or any other community newspaper for that matter); quelle surpris!
One of potentially my last NEN jobs was covering Harry and Nan MacDonald's 163rd wedding anniversary (pictured above - Harry is the one with slightly less hair). Quite an achievement, that - shame John Knox, who was their best man, couldn't make it!
